It's my favourite park in Shanghai.
Tourists flock to People's Square to see the marriage market. It loses its appeal within five minutes, and the whole place gets so busy. Tianshan Park is the opposite. It's the park I use to connect with nature.
Why it's worth it
It's a smaller park, and it's just had a revamp, so it looks amazing right now. There's a lake, trees, and an open space that catches the light really well.
When to go
Sunrise or sunset, when the light hits that open space.
Getting there
By bike it's simple: head west from Wuyi Road. It's close to the centre too. Zhongshan Park on Line 2 is the nearby metro hub, with direct access to the main sights.
